Preschool

Children 3 - 6 years of age - Morning Program – (Half / Full day option)

Sambo's Tots Playhouse & Playschool welcomes children 3-6 years of age for its interactive preschool program. A child’s development during the period of 3 to 6 years is incredible and can be so pivotal, as this is the time when personality, individuality, socialization, creativity, motor skills, problem solving and decision making are all developing simultaneously.

This program provides fun filled educational activities that are especially designed for children 3-6 years of age that boost their early years development, enhance curiosity, build relationships, support creativity, learn and have fun. Our concept focuses on a framework that forms a basis to enhance the physical, mental, social and emotional development. We do this by building on our early teachings and expanding the learning of  Jolly Phonic literacy program, early math activities and introducing age appropriate science activities. 

We encourage the participation of parents in their child's education through our weekly communication books as well as direct interaction with teachers and staff. While we design our class activities to be challenging, we also ensure that activities promote self confidence and the feeling of success for each child. Our class capacity is 18 children per room. Minimum 1 class leader and 2 class assistants are present in each class. We strive to have 1 adult for 4 or 5 students in order to maximize individual attention.

Snack Time
We promote healthy eating and we make our snacks fresh every morning and we try to limit process foods as much as possible. We serve 2 snacks one in the morning and 1 in the afternoon including 2 fruits or vegetables and 1 finger food.
