Early childhood is a remarkable time of child development, be it physical, cognitive, social or emotional. Watching a child develop new skills is a source of joy for parents and caregivers. At Sambo's Tots Playhouse & Playschool we aim to create an environment that maximizes the potential and supports the development of children from early on in life. We believe that each child is unique and no child is too young to learn.
At Sambo's Tots every child is valued for who she or he is. With the support of parents and caregivers, we explore and experience life's moments together. Further, we support and encourage parents and caregivers to explore and learn about early childhood development. We focus on physical, emotional and intellectual development as well as social skills. All of our activities and songs that children, parents and caregivers learn at each of our sessions can be repeated at home for continued fun and learning.
We designed our curriculum to boost self esteem and to provide developmentally appropriate educational activities and routines that give each child opportunities for challenge, success and fun. The curriculum includes child-centered activities in the areas of music, art, math readiness, social skills, language, physical development, and dramatic play. On our playground children can play freely, make independent choices, have fun and be who they want to be. Our mindset is multi-cultural and highly respectful of all. Children at Sambo's Tots Playhouse & Playschool have come from over 40 countries from around the world.
We pay special attention to hygiene and our cleaning staff work hard to ensure that our facilities are clean and welcoming to children and parents alike.
We provide a healthy snack to each child attending any of our activities. Parents can also enjoy tea and coffee. We make our snacks fresh from scratch every morning and do not use snacks out of a box. We try to get kids to experience different tastes that include tropical fruits and vegetables from Cambodia. Whenever possible we use locally grown products.
